Quick-Start Guided Meditation

Of course we recommend that you find excellent meditation tapes and CDs. But you might not be comfortable dropping $20 or $30 without any idea of what you're getting into. So we've provided a sample relaxation program.

This MP3 file contains a six minute relaxation exercise.

Ideally, you will find quiet time each morning. Please try listening to this program each morning for a week before you come to any conclusions about quiet time, meditation, or your ability to sit quietly for six minutes!

If you're new to meditation and quiet time, you may have some difficulty at first. That's why we recommend trying this for a week. As you listen to the audio program, you'll get the basic idea very quickly. When I first started with relaxation exercises, it was with a short little exercise like this.

The talent here is my wife, and the love of my life, Laura Lund.
