Karl W. Palachuk is the author of several books for technical consultants, including The Network

A Bifurcated Guy: Karl leads two lives, in a sense. One is the business owner for three companies in Sacramento, California. The other is a trainer in the philosophy of Relax Focus Succeed®. Doing this successfully takes balance, which seems appropriate.
 

Trainer: Karl has been teaching in some form or other since 1983 when he became a teaching assistant at the University of Michigan. He taught college for ten years. These days he puts on seminars for Relax Focus Succeed ® as well as business consulting and technical trainings.
 

In all, Karl averages twenty seminars a year.
 

Blogger: Karl’s “Small Biz Thoughts” blog is found at http://smallbizthoughts.blogspot.com. It provides advice for the Small Business owner and manager. This blog has been published since February 2006.

Newsletter Writer: Karl publishes three regular newsletters. The first, Readme.txt, is for his technical consulting clients. It is produced as a paper newsletter, mailed every month. This newsletter has been published since 1995.
 

Karl’s second newsletter is the Relax Focus Succeed® email newsletter. Published monthly since 2002. That free newsletter is the basis for the Relax Focus Succeed® web site. Click on the Newsletter link to subscribe.
 

Web Sites: Karl manages four primary web sites, plus many others for special projects.

• For his consulting business, he produces www.kpenterprises.com. That site is not a bland five-page brochure. It is filled with information and resources, and does a good job of attracting new customers.
   

• www.i5pc.com is 25% customer focused. Because it’s easy to remember, Karl uses that one in his radio advertising. It has links for all the handouts mentioned on the radio. The other 75% is dedicated to resources for technical consultants.
   

• www.GreatLittleBook.com is the site for the Great Little Book Publishing Co., Inc. The “GLB” site features the books and CDs produced by Karl and his staff.

• www.RelaxFocusSucceed.com is just what it sounds like: a place to read newsletters and lots of articles on the philosophy of Relax Focus Succeed®.

Email List: The Great Little Book email list is found at www.GreatLittleBook.com. This list covers upcoming events, seminars, news, and “what’s happening now.” Free, of course.
